The Straits Times: Why a university of the arts now?

In this commentary piece published in The Straits Times, Professor Chan Heng Chee, Chairman of the Pro-Tem Committee to create a university of the arts, lists three reasons to establish a university of the arts now.

“The University of the Arts will play a crucial role to prepare our students to be confident in their skills and abilities, enrich our society with their artistic endeavours and make a contribution to the economic landscape,” she shared.

Lianhe Zaobao: LASALLE students win shoe brand promotional video prize

PEDRO worked with final year students from the Diploma in Creative Direction for Fashion programme to create exciting concepts that tell the story of the EOS Sneaker through the eyes of Gen Z. The students, Fu Shouheng, Wang Shiwen, Wang Lei and Zuaipy Fariqa Santiago, came up with a captivating concept, winning them a prize of $1,000.
