Kimono-Inspired Designs

Inspired by Japanese entrepreneur Miss Noriko Collins' vintage kimono collection, 14 student teams from BA(Hons) Fashion Design and Textiles and BA(Hons) Fashion Media and Industries gave the traditional garments a modern twist in the works presented in the exhibition titled Kimono In:Tangible. Three participating students talked about their teams' inspirations and the challenges faced.

Monkey Goes West and Art Make Theatre History

Amidst the winners of the 15th M1-The Straits Times Life! Theatre Awards, LASALLE’s BA(Hons) Musical Theatre alumna, Mina Kaye, was crowned Best Actress for her role in The Rise and Fall of Little Voice by Pangdemonium, and BA(Hons) Acting alumni – Pavan J Singh, Crispian Chan and Erwin Shah Ismail – won the title of Best Ensemble for their roles in Dark Room x 8.
