Linden Furnell

At the 2016 Rob Guest Endowment grand final concert, Linden Furnell won the major prize and took home $20,000 for professional development in musical theatre. Linden has success in multiple theatre productions, such as W!ld Rice’s La Cage Aux Folles, The Singapore Repertory Theatre’s The Cat in the Hat, Sightlines Production’s Edges, Pangdemonium’s Next To Normal, Sing Theatre's A French Kiss, ManifestA tribute to Christina Sergeant at The Arts House, Dream Academy's The Last Five Years, Sing Theatre’s sold-out hit A Singaporean in Paris, and Lim Yu Beng’s play, 2 Houses commissioned for the George Town Festival 2014.

Linden has conducted a workshop and performed an original tap dance piece, Fayard, and independently staged and performed in Mark O'Rowe's Howie the Rookie. He has also composed original music for Skinned Knees Productions and the Octoburst Festival at the Esplanade. Linden has worked as a session vocalist and plays guitar, bass and mandolin for production bands, venues and events.
