Diploma in Music student Reuben Tan, better known as Reuby, took home Singapore’s first award at the Hong Kong Asian-Pop Music Festival Awards 2015. The young sensation beat seven other singers to win the Viewer’s Popularity Award, coming out tops with 37% of the vote. Reuby has also made his mark among fans of popular Korean drama, SPY, with his song The Key to her Heart featured in an episode. He performed in the Sing50 concert over Singapore’s Jubilee Weekend in August 2015, alongside superstars such as Stefanie Sun and JJ Lin. With a chart-topping album under his belt, Reuby is poised to scale even greater heights.
