Entry: Plasticube – An Urban Recycling Hub

The concept idea of Plasticube - An Urban Recycling Hub looks at an efficient and sustainable system to recycle and remodel plastics into 3-dimensional structures such as home furnishing pieces, bringing awareness to the general public. With 20% of global plastic waste being recycled and an increasing demand for plastic material use, it is evident that this issue will worsen in years to come. The panel of judges was impressed that the design ‘walks the talk’ by adopting recycled plastic into the structural and internal works.
