Employability in Creative Industries: “Will my daughter / son get a job after LASALLE?”

This talk will examine careers and employability in the creative industries. We will look at several case studies of career tracks of recent LASALLE graduates, and provide a glimpse into the latest employability trends in arts-related fields. We will differentiate between traditional employment, the freelance space, and entrepreneurship via small businesses. We will also look at the creative economy in Singapore and how "traditional" companies are seeking creative talent to survive in a global economy where disruption is changing everything.
