Wall Mural ‘Brightens’ Up Little India

ARTWALK LITTLE INDIA is a multidisciplinary art festival set in Singapore’s cultural precinct of Little India. This festival is co-organised by LASALLE and Singapore Tourism Board (STB) with support from the Little India Shopkeepers and Heritage Association (LISHA).

Berita Harian interviewed LASALLE BA(Hons) Arts Management Level 2 students, Nur Shireen Marican Hamid Marican and Dina Nerina Hamzah, and artist Nor Saeful Malek Mod Talib, about their experiences working on a mural, Traditional Trades of Little India, which aims to highlight the trades common to Little India when merchants and traders settled in the precinct many years ago. The mural can be seen at Belilos Lane in Little India.
