Lianhe Zaobao explores what the first cohort of students of the University of the Arts Singapore — formed by an alliance between LASALLE College of the Arts and Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts — are looking forward to.
Professor Steve Dixon, President of LASALLE, said, "The demand is high for a creative education, as its value becomes increasingly recognised across multiple sectors. Over the years, we’ve seen steady and consistent growth in applications, and this year is no exception. I’m particularly pleased that our new programmes, which were designed to meet the changing needs of a highly digitised, globalised world, have attracted a high level of interest. One example is MA Music Therapy, which was oversubscribed well before its closing date."
