Berita Harian spoke to BA(Hons) Arts Management alumni Firdaus Arman, Management Consultant at Ernst & Young, and Umar Mukhtar Abdul Razak, Underwriter at QBE Insurance Singapore Pte Ltd, on their career paths, the challenges they faced and how their arts education at LASALLE prepared them for the professional world.
Through an email interview, Firdaus shared, “LASALLE prepared me to be open minded, not just in the Singapore context but globally and be able to discuss and articulate ideas that might be new or different.”
The article also highlighted that in the recent CareerFest organised by LASALLE, students were given opportunities to attend workshops on CV-writing, and how to start their businesses and branding.
