Portraiture Drawing and Painting I & II

The prerequisite for Level II is the completion of the previous level or prior experience. Applicants who have had prior experience in portraiture drawing and/or oil painting are required to submit artworks for the trainer’s review.

About the trainer
Steve Chua is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice spans drawing, painting, installation, photography and graphic design. A graduate of Goldsmiths, University of London and LASALLE College of the Arts, his artworks are collected by corporation and statutory boards in Singapore. 

Alongside numerous group and solo exhibitions, local and international, one of Steve’s notable works was Gastrogeography of Singapore, an artist collective multisensory interactive art installation that was showcased in Singapore Biennale 2016. Steve’s recent accolades include clinching one of the top positions in NUSS Paint a Portrait Project and BOE Art Prize 2020. His artistic journey embraces innovation and a profound connection with cultural heritage.
