“HOCKET - the rhythmic linear technique using the alternation of notes, pitches or chords. In medieval practice of hocket, a single melody is shared between two (or occasionally more) voices such that alternately one voice sounds while the other rests.”

LASALLE Lunchtime Concert Series is back and drumming your way to a new beat. Expect a lively and energetic performance from the LASALLE Percussion Ensemble. Highlights of the afternoon repertoire include – ‘Hocket for Henry Cowell’ composed by James Tenney featuring the percussion quartet from BA(Hons) Music programme Jessie Chua, Leow Pei Yu, Lee Yun Ping and Evelyn Gan.

This Lunchtime Concert series is presented by LASALLE School of Contemporary Music, Faculty of Performing Arts.
